The Hummingbird Pilgrimage ReCap
By August The Hummingbird Pilgrimage started and allowed us to witness the powerful impact of our krystalespiral. We did offerings during one month around 4 states, creating a crystal grid in the shape of a heart. We brought the crystals back to nature in different locations around California, Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona
First we started at the Wild Rainbow Ranch in Topanga Canyon, California with a double spiral. The guardian of this land is Moonshine, a conscious fashion designer that is moving forward with her brand Teeki. Her project teach us about a lifestyle where the natural way of being is in alignment with the purity of the heart.
In Sedona during our ceremony we made peace with all the plastic and the effects of its cycle of production. We realize that now is the time to make things happen. We embrace everything the way it is because we know that from dust we come and to dust we will return. We appreciate that Teeki is actually transforming plastic bottles into fashion yoga pants!
The second kristalespiral offering happened in San Francisco, where Jordan and his friends received us with love to sing in his backyard to the Tihiki. The plant of power for the Mhuysqa people. TIHIKI teach us about, the power of the breath as the life force. The breath (hi) that sustains us (ti) for our natural growth (ki). Thank you Charles Kaul for supporting Sirata (our cosmic mhuysqa elder), it was wonderfull to get to know you better brother and to witness your prayer. Your contribution made a huge difference because Sirata with his flutes, with his tabaco, with his humble prescence was oppening the path for the thought of the "nativo mestizo" the people that is remembering the ancestral legacy with kindness and respect.
From San fran we moved to northen California, we had a beautiful ceremony in Nevada City and then we went to Arcata, where Elders and Young people came together to shared around the fire food and stories. After the Film Screening of the Documentary ALUNA, we move to the Klamath River, California where we witness an "Ah Pah: Indigenous Cultural Exchange and Alliance Building" at the Blue Creek-Ah Pah Traditional Yurok Village. Here we did a Song Offering, and Krystalespiral Ceremony. The kids gave the crystals to the river and we listened to native songs and stories with joy. We have a warm feeling of gratitude in our hearts. Thank you so much Therese Scott for your giving loving soul.
Moving up north we continue our pilgrimage for our next stop at the Oregon Eclipse, where our friends from Mexico with a lot of love, created a temple space for each one of the elements. Here we offered crystals on each elemental temple. Infinite gratitude to Ivan, Uno and all the people from the Ometeotl Festival, thank you to all the fire keepers, that took care of the fire every night. We remember the powerfull moment when we offered together an amethyst crystal to the fire in the moment of the opening ceremony. We were activating the violet flame as a transformative force during the whole gathering. This fire was in connection with the central fire of the First Nation Camp.
We felt how the ancestral wisdom was really present during this gathering where more than 50.000 people came together to celebrate and honor life. Our participation involved different ceremonies for the elements (water, earth, fire, air), including CantoalAgua, an intercultural global movement for the protection of water that meditates and resonates the mantra aaaaaaaa from the heart space.
Leaving Oregon we continue our journey. We knew that our journey was also about friendship. This journey was about growing up together in the way. When we arrived to Colorado to the Turtle Island Ecology Center, the guys (Justin, Ben, Brian and Luke) received us with love and joy. It was inspiring to see friendly faces once again and to go back to one of the lands that received our first krystalespiral offering the year before. We were harvesting the fruits of the seeds that we planted last year: Open hearts willing to support and be together for a few days of expansion and love.
After being in Colorado, we continue our path to New Mexico where we also offered an amethyst to the fire at the Unify Fest. Here we experienced union and collaboration, we learned the importance of self-reliance and that intercultural experiences bring inspiration for all. Thank you to our elders Jiiniikwe Medicine Bird, Rene, Sirata, Taita Byron, Itsa Shash (Eagle Bear) for your teachings, songs, prayers, dances, words, and example.
Thank you to Lindsay Semilla and the family from Sphere Foundation, to Nathan Crane, Mickie and all the people from Unify, for your support in the physical and sutil level. Our dreams where catched and now we all continue our paths knowing that weARTogether Always co-creating!!
With Love
